Everyone was so professional and helpful
On arrival by ambulance due to the fact I was unable to breathe unassisted and am currently 21 weeks pregnant the paramedics brought me through the ambulance entrance, staff at A&E were not interested in my condition showed no concern for my condition and advised to be taken for self booking.
I had received oxygen from the paramedics which had eased the inability to breathe properly and had enabled me to breathe freely and hold a conversation.
While being assessed with the ECG and heart rates I expressed concerns that I was experiencing cramping in my stomach which was a concern to me due to being 21 weeks pregnant; the staff dismissed this due to the fact I had been coughing previously.
After 3hrs waiting on blood results and not a single person being called through in that time I discharged myself from A&E as I felt it was not suitable for me to be sat waiting further time, other members of the public in the waiting area had been there for 7hrs plus due to my physical condition easing I withdrew myself and have since contacted my GP.
